My route to Rexroth
I first learned about Bosch Rexroth from a vacancy announcement on the notice board at the technical college I was attending.
Bosch Rexroth enjoys an excellent reputation as a global player in mechanical engineering. My expectations were therefore correspondingly high for an interesting and varied internship.
My activities at Rexroth
During my internship at the Bosch Rexroth Headquarters in Lohr am Main, I worked in Global Marketing. My duties included preparing, updating and compiling regular reports on global economic climate and market data, and trends and forecasts relating to the mechanical engineering industry and its sub-segments for the Executive Board, the divisions, national companies and corporate departments
In addition to evaluating a copy test, I was responsible for conducting a core issue survey as part of a customer satisfaction analysis. I also prepared a comparison of competitors' advertisements.
My personal experiences with Rexroth
My internship with Bosch Rexroth had the effect of confirming that I had chosen the right course for my university studies. I matured both personally and professionally as a result of the duties I undertook, some of which were extremely demanding.
I enjoyed working in a multicultural team immensely. The support of my colleagues and positive feedback I received during my six months as an intern at Bosch Rexroth have further raised my level of motivation.
My professional future with Rexroth
Next, I would like to gain experience working abroad, and I will therefore begin an internship abroad with Bosch Rexroth in Changzhou (China) in April 2006. I will be working in Controlling at the national company.
Based on the positive experiences I have had while working with Bosch Rexroth, I can quite well imagine going on to work as a trainee with Bosch Rexroth when I have finished my studies.
